Cult.fit vs Fitpass vs Fit Square: How to Compare Gym Access Models
A dated, source-linked comparison of cultpass variants, FITPASS 180/360 and Fit Square packs, with plan limits and unknown checkout details made clear.
Compare the exact plan and local venues, not just the brand. Cult.fit offers city- and centre-based membership variants; FITPASS offers subscription variants with different visit allowances; Fit Square sells non-expiring prepaid gym sessions. The right fit depends on where you train, whether you want classes and how much access you will use.

A time-limited subscription and a non-expiring balance expose you to different commitments. FITPASS's public 180 page offers monthly through annual durations. For Cult, read the specific pack's validity and pause allowance. Do not assume unused time becomes credit, or that non-expiring sessions become refundable cash.
Booking and check-in are not the same thing
Cult's gym-entry FAQ says advance booking is not necessary for gym entry, but check-in is mandatory. Do not apply that statement automatically to scheduled group classes.
FITPASS describes reserving workouts, then confirming them by QR scan at the venue. Fit Square requires no prebooking: browse a compatible partner gym, walk in, scan the QR and work out. Walk-in gym access is therefore not a distinction unique to Fit Square.
Match the city and the actual route
Fit Square currently serves Bengaluru, Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Thane and publicly advertises 300+ gyms. FITPASS publicly advertises a multi-city Indian network, while Cult's eligibility depends on the selected city and plan. National totals do not establish a suitable gym near your home or office.
Shortlist named venues in the same locality on each service. Check the same workout type and time. A yoga class, open gym floor and personal-training appointment are not interchangeable products. For Fit Square, use the gym directory; verify competitor availability in the selected provider's app.
Test five scenarios before paying
Use these as planning questions, not a claim that we tested the services: a weekday near work, an evening near home, a weekend visit, a short busy-day workout and a backup venue. Check eligibility, visit caps, time slots, facilities and the total payment for each.
If a corporate benefit, bank offer or promotion is involved, read its own terms. FITPASS's fair-use policy makes clear that memberships operate under applicable plan and programme conditions; a benefit carrying the same brand need not match a retail plan.
